Introduction
-
We continue in the Kirchhoff prestack depth
migration calculations.
-
The dimensions of the velocity model, shot-receiver configuration,
methods for calculation of the recorded wave field and the migration
are the same as in the papers by Bucha (2011, 2012a, 2012b).
- We generate
recorded wave field
in models composed of two layers separated by one non-inclined
curved interface. The upper layer is
inhomogeneous
with triclinic anisotropy and with vertical velocity gradient.
We use two different constant vertical gradients of elastic moduli,
both greater than the gradient used by Bucha (2012b).
-
We migrate in single-layer
velocity models and our aim is to study the influence of
the incorrect anisotropy
and incorrect heterogeneity
on the migrated image.
