Consortium meeting June 9-11, 2003

Three-day meeting of consortium Seismic Waves in Complex 3-D Structures will be held on June 9-11, 2003 in Prague, at the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, V Holesovickach 2, 180 00 Praha 8, in the seminar room of the Department of Geophysics, 12th floor. It is the same place where the meeting took place previous years.

The meeting will consist of the two-day review meeting and one-day technical meeting.

Programme of the review meeting June 9-10, 2003

June 9:

9.30-12.00:

Information on the results concerning the research program of the project in the tenth year (starting October 1, 2002).

12.00-14.00:

Lunch.

14.00-16.30:

Continuation from the morning. Discussion.

June 10:

9.30-12.00:

Information on the research program for the eleventh year of the project (2003-2004). Discussion.

12.00-14.00:

Lunch.

General discussion.

Technical meeting June 11, 2003

The technical meeting will be devoted mainly to the detailed description of the program packages MODEL, CRT, ANRAY, NET, FORMS, FD and other programs developed in our group. During the session, the authors of the programs can describe physics behind the programs, specification of input data and perform test runs of the programs. The authors will be ready to answer the questions of potential participants of the session as well as to help those who will be interested with the preparation of their own input data. The technical session may also include the detailed presentation of some theoretical and numerical results. Any proposal of additional presentation during the technical session is welcome.

We would appreciate very much if potential participants of this session could indicate their interest in the session and the topic to be discussed.
